By now you should all have noticed the massive problems associated with the 3.1 iPhone firmware release, so i am not explaining what you all know or can search.
As a stockholder and user I can only say that i am grossly embarrassed with the inactions from Apple.
iPhone users are adverting to extreme measures to downgrade to the previous 3.01 firmware. All Apple has to do is announce that a fix is in the works so the patient majority can hope for a fix.

Update: After one month a firmware update 3.1.2 fixes this problem
