Running Snow Leopard on a MacBook Pro.

Or, is it JUST for an Airport router?

Thanks for any reply.

George.

Unless somebody knows something that I do not, a Linksys WRT54G is configured using its own web interface, and cannot be configured using Apple’s Airport Utility. You connect to the Linksys router’s IP address in a web browser of your choice and configure it from there (and this may be too much info, but this is true for the Linksys’s native firmware or replacement firmware from DD-WRT, Tomato, etc.)

That is the way I currently do it.  I also see where Linksys has a program for the Mac that by-passes this if you have the WRT54G2, and a couple of other routers.

I was wanting to know, just to make things simpler.  Being fairly new to Mac, I thought I would ask, hoping I may have missed something.  I have just noticed that things seem to integrate better through the Mac.

Thank you for the reply.

George.
