Speaking of getting knocked around unexpectedly, I’ve found out that the only time in the next two weeks I can arrange for help unloading a huge air compressor is today. Good luck everybody while I knock out 500 miles driving this thing around.

Eric, I have always respected you, but after looking at the picture, I do even more.

Penut!  We all know what you “guys” do with compressors down in the South.  Let’s just say you don’t use them to blow the shop floor clean!

I’m impressed by the Tonka label in the middle of the tail gate. As AAPL drops off the highs of the day….

    More iTablet rumors from P.E.D.

I know the size and the price point of the new tablet and I cannot share. I’m so not good with secrets.

    My guess 6.75” X 4.50” with 7.5"diag screen

    Priced at $895.00

    There, I’m on record.

I’m confused on the window dressing concept.  If a fund buys today it takes 3 days to settle meaning window dressing would have ended last Friday.  People were talking about this on Friday being the final day of window dressing.  Anyone have an idea on this one?

I am just reporting what I heard today. I am not sure of the 3 days prior requirement. See HERE!

Maybe the positions are already taken before the “3 days” - that way smaller purchases/sales would only be needed to arrive at the desired price?

I think you in the right thought… Anyway, it’s a reality to remember for future quarter ends (when the market is up that is)...

    Few news items today -

    1 -  Oppenheimer raised aapl to 210

2 -  Apple purchased mapping service placebase (apparently in July but looks like it’s being reported today).

My guess is that we have seen the high (in AAPL and the market) for a while. The economic numbers today were ugly - tomorrow will be even uglier IMHO. My guess - by mid October we see 8500 at the dow and 170 for AAPL.

I can’t believe that RIMM is green - oh well, just a matter of time. I bought a truck full of 65 puts. RIMM should be in the 50s with their sales numbers and horrible forecast.
