Speaking of getting knocked around unexpectedly, I’ve found out that the only time in the next two weeks I can arrange for help unloading a huge air compressor is today. Good luck everybody while I knock out 500 miles driving this thing around.

I’m confused on the window dressing concept. If a fund buys today it takes 3 days to settle meaning window dressing would have ended last Friday. People were talking about this on Friday being the final day of window dressing. Anyone have an idea on this one?
I am just reporting what I heard today. I am not sure of the 3 days prior requirement. See HERE!
Maybe the positions are already taken before the “3 days” - that way smaller purchases/sales would only be needed to arrive at the desired price?

My guess is that we have seen the high (in AAPL and the market) for a while. The economic numbers today were ugly - tomorrow will be even uglier IMHO. My guess - by mid October we see 8500 at the dow and 170 for AAPL.

I can’t believe that RIMM is green - oh well, just a matter of time. I bought a truck full of 65 puts. RIMM should be in the 50s with their sales numbers and horrible forecast.
