I have a problem with my 3GS iPhone - the screen has zoomed in to where I see less than a quarter of the normal screen. It is not responsive to finger movements to unzoom - it does wiggle a little, but does not change. It will slightly unzoom, but then it ‘snaps’ back. I have turned it off and re-started, restored original settings and used an older save to reload. The problem remains.

I have had this problem before, but the phone became responsive in one instance and I was able to restore once. This is the third occurance in 2 months.

I am unable to use the keyboard to unlock the phone.

Any suggestions? I am thinking I may need to go to my Apple store tomorrow and see if they can help.

Edit: I loaded a very old save. That fixed the zoom problem.

There is a new video on YouTube that explains the way Zoom can be turned on and off, and it also addresses the Spontaneous Zoom Glitch that affects many owners of the iPhone 3GS. Take a look and you will have no problem fixing your iPhone easily and then also learning how to use the Zoom features.
