But I wanna tablet.

And a more capable Mac Pro that runs stone quiet.

And Apple to ship video cards with dual DVI monitor support or better.

And Apple to ship stand alone LED backlight 30” displays with a standard four point mount on the back and a height adjustable stand.

For those who look, a flash allows one to see farther.

Looks like dual on the new ATI 5970 should hit the streets this month.

Otherwise EVGA repackaged a GeForce GTX 285 http://store.apple.com/us/product/TW387ZM/A

Mac Pros cannot take multiple dual PCI cards. It is very sad.

The GTX 285 most definitely goes in the MAC PRO.  If you click the link http://store.apple.com/us/product/TW387ZM/A?mco=MTA5Mjc0NzA to the store it is a bit pricey at 449.95 but if you can afford dual 30” displays then this is cheap.

EVGA GeForce GTX 285
For maximum performance with graphics-intense applications, upgrade to the EVGA GeForce GTX 285 graphics card for the Mac Pro. Perfect for single or dual displays of up to 2560x1600 resolution, it offers 1GB of GDDR3 memory and 240 processing cores to unlock extra performance so you can get better gaming, motion graphics, 3D modeling, rendering and animation.

PCI Express 2.0
1GB GDDR3 memory
240 stream processors
Two dual-link DVI-I ports

You don’t understand: I have four monitors right now and I want to run more. This means three cards each able to support two or more displays.

If you have a MAC PRO you should be able to cram 4 GTX 120s in and fill it up.  That will give you 4 dual link DVI and and 4 mini display ports.  Then buy some of the 27” IMac and use in display mode.  Nice setup though smile

Whaaa???

I’ve got dual DVI in my Mac Pro. Not even the current model. About a year old. Oh, dead silent too.

Oh, wait… it’s late. Multiple dual pci cards. I thought it could.

I just called Ted Turner, he tol’ me ‘bout this NIFTY “very old” Apple trick built into EVERY copy of Snow Lep.

SPACES

Amazing how much learning to use it saves on high end graphics cards, monitors, and supplemental A/C to cool down the inferno caused via too much hardware cause you won’t tweak out the software!
