[quote author=“spxyu02”]eek!  does it bother you that the colors surrounding the icons in the menubar in the top right are just a tad off from the color of the menubar itself?  it bothers me :’(

They’re off because I haven’t done a restart since re-theming Tiger.  I barely notice, really.  I’m just so happy to not be looking at Aqua, I can overlook slight color unmatchedness.

I believe they call this thread-based CPR.

As always, click to make big.

Apps visible are X11 with BitchX running (#macobserver), Adium, Konfabulator, GeekTool, MenuMeters, and PathFinder.  Yay!

My MacBook in action, running Aperture, Parallels, Mail, Safari and iTunes. The SmugMug uploader does not work on Intel-based Macs for some reason, so I’m using the Windows version on XP (in Parallels) to upload images processed in Aperture.

It doesn’t take long to eat up 2GB of RAM and peg two 2GHz processor cores when you’re running multiple operating systems simultaneously, and a newly updated Aperture 1.5 is building its previews for a 25+ GB library. smile

Dave, I think you’re just trying to show off.  smile  After all, I can’t do nearly that much with my 4 year old Powerbook.  cry  I’m still trying to postpone a machine upgrade, so I’m just going to pretend that you’re only running non-proc intensive apps on your machine.

Me jealous, you Dave.

You’re not wrong. I was already doing that stuff at the time I ran across your post, but I must admit it’s beyond what I ask of my computer most of the time. smile

My last screenshot is 5 years old. Time for a new one! I just cleaned up my desktop and thought I’d share it.
