Factory settings without os cd?

  I’m selling my black macbook so I want to get it to factory settings or as close as I can. I don’t have my CDs on me and I’m selling it Tomorow . Is it possible with out the cd and if not what’s the closest I can get and what will it leave on the hard drive?

  At least you should remove your user account and your personal data. Just create a new admin account, log into that and remove your own account from System Preferences. The new account will have all the default settings.

  If you are going to delete that way, make sure you do a secure empty trash.
