Multiple Mouse Sensitivity
-
Hey geeks,
I recently got a Magic Mouse and, since the sensitivity of those mice is so low, I have set my mouse sensitivity to the highest setting possible. However, when I switch back to my old Logitech mouse, the cursor zooms all the way across the screen with the slightest motion. Has anybody figured out a way to set the sensitivity of each mouse individually?
Thanks,

I don’t have one, but I think I remember someone saying there was firmware you could d/l for it. Or maybe it was a software update. Not much help-sorry.

Try Better Touch Tool:

Makes the Magic Mouse everything it should be.
Edit. Are you using the Logictec drivers with it?

I’m definitely using BTT, it’s the reason I bought my Magic Mouse
. Thanks to your suggestion, I tried setting the System Preferences value to a setting that is comfortable for my Logitech mouse and used BTT to set my Magic Mouse sensitivity to something different, and it worked!
And I’m not using the logitech drivers because my mouse is so old (Mx900) that it is not supported by their mac drivers.
So to be clear to others: BTT’s mouse sensitivity setting is SEPARATE from the systemwide sensitivity setting for other devices!
Thanks!
