HFT: Wanna buy your Apple from Dell?

No longer can Dell dudes say “Apple sux”, they can say “some Apple sux” or whatever but that’s a massive change in perception. And to a lesser extent it applies to the greater Wintel world as well as Dell’s customers.

Typical Dell, stuff the future (or anything else for that matter) lets go for today’s dollar. I bet there was great laughter at Cupertino when they got the request from Dell.

Apple has the opportunity to reel users in using the iPod. They experience Firewire, for updates they go to the Apple web site, there could even be new software from Apple for WiniPod users, and so they experience that Apple is good.

It’s a big win for Apple.
