Is there any way to stop iWeb from putting this:

<?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?>

on line 1 of every .html doc that I publish?

I believe you’ll need to do manual edits on each page. Lack of easy customization options is one of the drawbacks of the product. I did a review of iWeb about a year ago and found it to be at times frustrating if I chose to step away from the pre-formatted pages.

If you find a different answer please let me know.

Thank you DawnTreader for the reply. I was afraid that was the answer. If I find anything else out I’ll post it here.
