The iPad is the talk of the town. What will early Monday trading activity bring to the share price?

I think we’re going to get a good chance to buy more AAPL this week.  I’m not convinced the health care vote is justification, but when do shorts need that?  As we approach the launch and the popularity of the iPad proves itself, it may be a short-lived opportunity.

Also Apple are due for a lot of shit this week coming from the Pwn2Own contest.

Look for “Apple OSX Snow Leopard - really insecure” headlines and “iPhone Pwnd” headlines over the next day or so. So we will have lots of geeks bragging about how wonderful Windows 7 / Linux / writing stuff on paper is more secure than Apple’s software / hardware.

Oh Joy. The media of course will lap it up. Expect headlines of dread from the PC press and of course, how could we leave out the sensational coverage from the BBC.

What a wild ride we’ll be having.

I don’t see much impact on AAPL’s price per share.  It’s geek bragging rights.  As insignificant as a fart under water.

Firestorm,

I think we agree on a lot of things.

I’d urge you to delete this post as it has no business in this thread.  Take it over to the political rants page.

All the best,

Wow.  Up a buck plus after dismal looking PM index futures.  Nice reversal.

In general, everything is up. WS doesn’t like uncertainty. Now that the bill has passed, certainty rules again.

Everyone woke up expecting to be dead from health care.  And we’re alive, breathing on our own….
