I think we’re going to get a good chance to buy more AAPL this week. I’m not convinced the health care vote is justification, but when do shorts need that? As we approach the launch and the popularity of the iPad proves itself, it may be a short-lived opportunity.
Also Apple are due for a lot of shit this week coming from the Pwn2Own contest.
Look for “Apple OSX Snow Leopard - really insecure” headlines and “iPhone Pwnd” headlines over the next day or so. So we will have lots of geeks bragging about how wonderful Windows 7 / Linux / writing stuff on paper is more secure than Apple’s software / hardware.
Oh Joy. The media of course will lap it up. Expect headlines of dread from the PC press and of course, how could we leave out the sensational coverage from the BBC.

What a wild ride we’ll be having.
The one thing on our side is that earnings are coming in a month. The YOY qtr should be easy to trounce.

I don’t see much impact on AAPL’s price per share. It’s geek bragging rights. As insignificant as a fart under water.
