1 Apple Lisa = 43 iPads, or, How Far We’ve Come
-
We old bastards sometimes get teary-eyed when we think about the Lisa, but we’re secretly pleased that we never had to rely on them to get any work done (hands up anyone who did?).
But for the price they cost so many, many years ago, you can get 43 iPads.
There’s no floppy drive in the iPad, though, which is definitely a mistake.

Another sad thing is that I’ve never seen things like a Newton or a Lisa in person.
We were early adopters of the Apple IIe, but it wasn’t until 1994 that I got my very own Performa.
