When I go to Tysons Corner on Friday, will the Apple store have the same stuff that’s on apple.com? More? Less? I’m thinking scanner now and they have it on the website. And get this ... for $20 LESS than all the major catalog stores! Is that amazing or what?!?

And .... I could be wrong, but when I hit submit now, I should have my third star! Pray for me.

I wouldn’t expect to see too many peripherals.  I don’t remember seeing any scanners at the MOA store.  If there was, there was only one.  There was only one printer though.  It is mostly Apple hardware, Apple software, lots of 3rd party software, digital cameras, and Apple monitors.  Only saw one third party monitor (and my it looked completely out of place).

Hmmm. Oh well. I’m gonna buy something, but I guess just not that. I have actually had my eye on a few games. I haven’t owned a game for a computer since my Commodore 64, but three titles have my eye .... Tropico, Alice and Escape from Monkey Island. May have to splurge.

Retro, my wife and I just came from the MOA Apple Store and saw one scanner—I think it was a Canon, one of those thin scanners…

Aha! Now that happens to be the scanner that I want. Hmmm. Could end up getting it! I’ll be surprised when I get there, I’m sure!

Back again, so soon, eh?  How come your wife wasn’t there at 630 AM on a Saturday?  HUH?    Like we all wonder…

I could ask you the same thing Seriously, she isn’t as geeky as I am. Besides, on weekends, she doesn’t sleep; she hibernates!

It was funny, because I know the store managers, and when I walked in one of the Assistant Managers picked me out right away.

Also, Apple definitely has the one scanner, but I also can not confirm whether or not there are additional scanners available.
