  That is a good point. That is one way this whole incident could have benefited Apple: to feed the hype for the next iPhone. This is likely where the idea that this whole thing was an Apple publicity stunt has come from. While I don’t think that is likely, it’s not in Apple’s nature, I can understand the suggestion

  Well, my take is that purchasing phone will be held off until the summer release.
