Today was our wedding anniversary (6 years! Yay!). We went to dinner for a few hours and began talking later about my upcoming Xmas present (a PowerBook G4). I said, “why don’t we go and look at it?”

This is unusual, because I would never drive to the nearest Mac haunt on a lark (the closest is a CompUSA in Edina, one to two suburbs over). But since the MOA store is 5-10 minutes away, away we went!

Anyway, we went to look at the PowerBook and get The Wife’s opinion on the the PB versus the iBook. While there, it was surprising to see that there was high traffic in the store.

Which leads to this question: how is traffic for the Apple Stores now that the Grant Opening fever has cooled? Ron Johnson, VP for Apple Retail says that 10,000 customers a week visits each of the current stores.

Any reports from the field to corroborate this claim?

I posted a little ditty about Plano’s store 5 days after it opened .

Definitely interested in anecdotal evidence for the other stores.  Let’s hear from our Tyson’s Corner and Glendale people.  icon_smile.gif
