You assume constant flow of data (streaming, I guess) at full rate. No consideration for actual time to, say, read a web page or e-mail which I would bet is what most folks do when online.
You know what else is measured in a constant stream? The minutes you use on voice calls. It doesn’t take into consideration the time you spend dialing, or looking for a phone number, or trying to figure out what to say. It only measures the actual time you are spending using bandwidth.
P.S. Those are average speeds from last year not “full rate.” With the upgrade to HSDP+, peak speeds are much faster now.
