  Why is it that Apple will cater to a 500Mhz Windows computer user running XP and yet won’t support 10.4 on the Mac?!?! Don’t say that Apple drops support for older OSes…as XP is twice as old as Tiger.

  Yeah, that does seem unfair towards Mac users.

  It’s not exactly fair to Mac users, no. But it makes sense from the standpoint of getting their browser on as many PCs as possible, while giving Mac users an incentive to upgrade sooner. Because if Apple gives us reason to upgrade, most of us will.
