  It looks like the BMW interface is going much further than simple iPod integration with the music player but also includes some kind of ability to control individual apps. If true, I believe this is a huge advance compared to what other car manufacturers are currently doing.

  Impressive! Now what I want to see is the same setup running via Bluetooth so all this integration can take place as soon as you get in the car without even removing your iPhone or iPod from your pocket. :D
