When is TMO Going to Have its Own iPhone/iPad App?

    Maybe if this was a pay for use site, otherwise I don’t see it.

    I am all for this site moving to subscription. We might even get some of the old members back.

    This site survives on clicks which are evidence to the advertisers to pay TMO and keep this board lit up.  If clicks are indeed moving from computers to mobile devices, it doesn’t take Einstein to figure out that skating to where that puck is going means fighting for an app cubical on those devices.  Clicks are shifting to apps because casual consumption is shifting to mobile devices. 

    I for one send a lot of clicks to MacDailyNews since they had the good sense to build an app and so it resides on my iPhone and iPad.  My clicks would quintuple to TMO if this site had an app, and I doubt if I am alone.

    Now, about that check.  Tell me again, who should send the check to whom?  My bet is that the TMO team should be the ones writing and sending the check, yesterday, to an app developer.
