Movies on a iPod

I’ve been trying to put movies on my iPod touch. I’ve ripped the movies to my MBP but can’t import
them to iTunes. I would appreciate any help as to the proper software to use and how to import
movies to iTunes. When I use the import in iTunes nothing happens.

Handbrake, and use the built-in settings. There is one for the iPhone/iPod Touch.
