I just got my new mac.  I ordered the 867 mhz with 17 inch apple lcd display.  I added a Iogear USB 2.0 card with 4 ports for additional usb ports (not much more than a hub) and 1.2 gigs of ram.  I added my old hard drive (40 gig Maxtor ATA 100).  In all, the installations took me under 30 minutes. 

I am impressed the computer is beautiful to look at - minus the scratch on the side (0.75 cm), but I can live with that.  I use it for what is on the screen not the box it is in, but who can complain about that box. 

Photoshop flies on this machine.  I am really impressed and I can’t see what people are complaining aout with the LCDs.  This is the best screen I have ever seen.  I can’t wait to hook up my firewire camera and start making some videos.  I will write more later.

You better not be getting any out of memory errors or you may have serious operating problems…

tell you what, when you get it, I will swop you my far far better iMac for that cruddy out of date wind-up machine ...... is it a deal or what? how can you refuse?
