Apple? will broadcast its October 20 event online using Apple?s industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires either a Mac? running Safari? on Mac OS? X version 10.6 Snow Leopard?, an iPhone? or iPod touch? running iOS 3.0 or higher, or an iPad?. 2) Today we are going to see:
-Update on iOS 4.2 and a firm release date
-Macbook Air with only SSD options and better battery life
-iLife 2011
-10.7 (Lion) sneak peak. Lion WILL have an iOS layer that REPLACES dashboard but I am not sure it will be presented today.There will NOT be any surprises outside of this.

As long as we all have MagicTrackpads, since virtually all of the iOS apps require touch to function. I’m sure Apple already has a solution to this in the works.
