The computers dark age as foretold by Steve Jobs

I almost don’t know what to say about this.  The 1984 interview with Steve Jobs has been re-posted and could have been written yesterday in many respects.  We’ve kicked around a lot of this for the past few years but wow…, just wow.

If, for some reason, we make some giant mistakes and IBM wins, my personal feeling is that we are going to enter sort of a computer Dark Ages for about 20 years.

1984 to 2004 just about covers it.

Use this link to read the Apple 2.0 column on the early 1985 interview with Steve Jobs.

The interview occurred a year after the Mac’s original release.

Definitive proof that Steve Jobs is no mere pitchman.

Thanks for the link, BillH.  Fascinating read.
