cybersecurity expert + NFC + Data Center + $60 billion = ??

  It just occurred to me: ......Apple has in place or is putting in place the technical expertise and hardware infrastructure to enter the lucrative financial services business.

  Apple’s in-store use of mobile POS (point of sales)systems, the iTunes infrastructure, new emphasis on both NFC (near field communications) and the recent hire of cybersecurity expert and author David Rice plus, the still unused Data Center, all could be leveraged into a new business division competing (or working together) with the Visa, MasterCard, AmEx & PayPals of the world.

  Would love to hear any thoughts regarding this possibility.
