Youtube quit working in Safari

  I reset safari 2 days ago and since then I am no longer able to view videos on Youtube. Break.com and Ebaumsworld.com still work fine, but Youtube won’t work. I’ve tried to empty cache and cookies, no luck. When I try to view a video I get a black box where the video should be, all the Suggestions on the right and the comments work fine. Just downloaded and installed Flash again, no luck.

  I’m running a MacBook 2.16Ghz Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM, OS 10.6.6 Safari 5.0.3

  Interesting.
  Safari and Firefox not working here.
  Camino and iCab ok at the moment.

  Try a 2nd user account.

  Try Yasu (do a backup of Home/Library first).  Do not clear cookies.

  Try re-installing the Combo update for 10.6.6.
