Ipad2 - who’s buying? how many?
-
I’m in for at least 3 - 1 for myself and 1 for each of my 2 kids. Ipad 2 is awesome.
-
I’m in for 5 of the 64GB 3G models for my business partners and family.
I sold 3 of our ipad 1 64gb 3G models for $650 each 3 days ago. We bought those on launch day in April 2010.
I don’t feel bad at all having 10 months or so of full usage and only losing $180 in value. The iPad 2 looks awesome. I think they will sell the 40 million that is estimated for 2011.

Two for the Ensign’s house. One white for the spouse, black for me. The IPAD 1, which has ably served since last April, now redeployed to the grandchildren….

-
one for me ( my wife thinks I am nuts)
handing down mine to my 10 year old who is on it most of the time anyway. She has Justin Beiber all over it.

Awesome. I’m in for 1 (I already have 2 first generation iPads.)

Hocus pokus, hope it don’t poke us in the eye.
-
Which is better - ATT or Verizon? Is iPad2 ATT version better for overseas traveling?
-
Not sure yet. I usually try to hold out for every second iteration at least. Otherwise I would be buying a new phone and iPad every year now. The thing looks awful tempting though.
-
Yep very tempting but the main use for me was to show photos and would have loved a higher res screen…. not sure i can wait for the next one ! .....
-
I will likely buy one but want to first verify the RAM size. I hope Apple squeezed 1GB into this pup but I could live with 512 MB.
cheers

I think as long as I can avoid actually touching one in person, I’ll wait until I see how iOS 4.3 and the new apps perform on the current iPad. I’m another one that would really love the high-res screen.

Actually sold my 16g wifi on amazon about 4 weeks ago for about the same as I paid for the open box at best buy. I think this time around I will be buying 1 32 gb wifi/3G. I can’t decide on color. Probably black.
-
So very close to thinking about buying one…
You can also put me down in the “must test drive one at the Apple Store first before even thinking about buying” column. Part of it is waiting and hoping for a RetinaPad (which to me still seems 2-3 years away) and slight disappointment re: the camera specs (no mention of HD up front, iPod touch-type camera resolution most likely in back). But the bigger reason is need - I’m already an iPhone user. iPhone 5 is almost certain to pack about 80% or so of the A5 and superfast graphics boost, and for me that’s more than reason enough for me to trade up a little early from my iPhone 4.
Me aside, the iPad 2 is a compelling product for the tablet market. There won’t be many holdouts left after this next buying wave.
