iMovie on iPad

  Hey guys, what do you guys use to play movies on the iPad? A German friend of mine told me a way to install iMovie without jailbreaking. Thought I?d share

  ? Install the latest version of iPhone Configuration Utility 3.3
  ? Download iMovie from iTunes
  ? Open iPhone Configuration Utility
  ? Click applications on the left and click ?Open iMovie?
  ? Connect your iPad to your computer and click to install

  I’m a little confused… the new iMovie is made for iPad as well as iPhone. Why would you need to jump through any hoops to install it?

  Cause it currently can’t be installed on the 1st gen iPad without a hack :(

  Ah, yes. So how does it run? Does it work reasonably well? I wonder if they made the original iPad unsupported because they felt performance was lacking, or if it is because they want to use it as an incentive to buy the iPad 2 - not to mention that there’s no built-in camera to record video.
