Can I use a jailbroken iphone on verizon now?

  I know VZ carries iphone 4 now, but I have till a year to get upgrade. I got an iphone 3GS from a friend for free, jailbroken, can I activate on Verizon to use the 3GS immediately?

  Your only other option than AT&T (assuming you can unlock at all; I don’t think an unlock is available for recent releases) is another GSM carrier like T-Mobile. And even there, you’ll only have Edge speed, not 3G.

  And Unique, this isn’t the financial board.
