iPad Printing without a network

  Being the great Son-in-law that I am, I got my wife’s dad an ipad. I have him set up on an AT&T network, he does not have a home network or is willing to get one. Now, the iPad is his only “computer”, any thought on a way print directly to a printer? Everything that I have seen has it working only through wifi. Thank you.
