What’s your favorite iOS chat client?

  There are a lot of good options out there, including Beejive, IM+, Meebo, Verbs, and many more. What do you prefer and why?

  I’m using BeeJive because I always use my iPad for chats when I’m away from my desk. I like the interface, and it supports multiple services.

  Here’s a related but possibly interesting question…

  How might iMessage affect your use of chat on iOS devices? Right now, many of the people I chat with on mobile devices are using it as glorified text messaging so they don’t have to pay the carrier for a higher plan. Do you think your use of IM on iOS will go down at all once iMessage allows free Internet-based texting to other iOS devices?

  My favorite has long been Beejive. But with the release of Verbs 2.0 it has become my new favorite. I can’t wait to see an iPad version.

  I like E Buddy Pro , because it seems to have all the great features like themes, push notifications.
