Deleted File recovery

  I have just had a nightmare importing my holiday photos into iPhoto using image capture, where it hung mid way through the process but deleted all the pictures off the camera.

  I’ve tried looking for the image capture cache files but with no luck, pretty confident they have now gone.

  Can anyone recommend a Compact Flash recovery application, preferably free or at least cheap.

  Likewise any advice on what the best reader to use would also be appreciated.
