As you all know, with the upgrade to Lion, Quicken 2007 will not work anymore. For those of you (like me) who have been using one version or another of Quicken for Mac since 1995 (!) this is a Bad Thing. Curse Intuit for orphaning Mac users.
That leaves us to consider our options. Quicken Essentials lacks bill pay, which is a deal breaker for me.
I tried MoneyDance, which is nice, but I had a few issues:
—Importing data from Quicken resulted in a hopeless mess
—My bank does not support use of software for bill pay
—MoneyDance does not support Quicken Bill Pay
Anyone care to share their experience? Other software? Other options?
For now, we can skip the upgrade and keep Quicken 2007. But that is not a long term solution.
Cheers!
