More Free Advertising for Apple

How many lawyers, instructors, and businesspeople will see this and realize just how convenient this device is for presentations.  This trial will end up being the most publicized since OJ, which equates to a ton of free advertising for Apple.

The reach of this device is growing by leaps daily.  Once the street truly understands how deep it can penetrate enterprise, it should help the stock to climb to its deserved valuation.

There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t use my iPad. Not sure how I ever got by without it. I believe that there are two camps: Those that have iPads and those that want one.

I prefer using my iPad 1 to using my MacBook Pro.  I take my iPad everywhere.  The MacBook Pro is consigned to desktop use.

    I would say three camps:
    Those who have iPads
    Those who want them
Those who don’t realize what they are missing

I voted by proxy for my wife. Not so much that uses it at work, but at school, in the classes she is taking. These days she doesn’t schlep her MacBook Pro to school.

Something really interesting just happened directly related to this thread.

One of the IT managers came up to me to find out if a perticular app was available for the iPad. A quick search of the app store showed it was available. “Good, that’ll fit with the mobile strategy” was the response.

We’re a government agency that is fully Blackberry here.

The discussion went on to how long it would take to replace BB with iPhones. The issue was the planed release of the BES server that would support iPhones and Androids.

The Android crowd is still insisting that all Apple products are destined to become niche products. They’d better get used to disappointment.

I began using my personal iPad at work during some lengthy hi-level planning meetings to avoid having to lug around an ever-expanding file folder of blueprints, spreadsheets, etc.

After just a few meetings, the rest of my management team decided (on their own! I answered their questions about the iPad but didn’t “campaign”) that they all needed iPads for work instead of replacing their aging laptops. We now have 9 iPads deployed and my personal one remains at home again.

What’s interesting is the manager that came to talk to me is an Android guy.

I’ve had 3 friends tell me this week that they plan to switch to the iPhone.  And we all know once they’re in the ecosystem, they start looking at other Apple products.
