Wall Street Analysts Struggle To Predict Apple.

I was interviewed starting last Friday with follow-up questions earlier this week. I appreciate the coverage of the independent analysts.

[Edited to change topic title]

I once read a too chatty book (‘cause they could have said everything in 25 pages, instead of a book) titled, Full of Bull which was an insider’s account of how Street analysts operate. I took the primary message of the book to heart.

For those who look, a flash allows one to see farther.

DT might be an “amateur,” but that doesn’t mean he should look unprofessional in a wire story.

Few enjoy bomb-throwing like myself, but if one wants to be taken seriously, you can’t act like an anonymous guy on a message board.

With that said, what the &%$#! were they thinking interviewing Bat Guano? Seriously, why is this guy getting his name in print so much? I mean, didn’t he even take a pass last earnings?

Frankly, a few of us manage and operate like private buy-sell funds anyway.

Good job, DT.

Here, here! Good job.  Can you imagine how more accurate DT and the independents would be if TC and PO would take their calls and occasionally invite them in for a coffee?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but somewhere on that list of major goals would probably be being one of the first, if not the first, independent analyst groups (that aren’t some hedge fund or private fund managers) to get on an Apple conference call, or have an analyst meeting with Apple execs.

One step at a time.
