Mixed feelings this morning as our stock continues its march upward with very little volume.
When will we correct? I will have some cash ready a week from today.
Over the weekend my friends were impressed with aapl growth but lamented how expensive the stock has become. A split would double our stock in less then 12 months. When that happens I want to own as much as possible.
When Apple fails to announce a dividend, buyback or stock split at the shareholders meeting later this month the Quarterly WTF Sale (®, LoveMyiPad?) will commence.
I could not disagree more strongly with that opinion

That’s cool, we’re both on the record! Are you thinking there’s no sale this quarter or different timing?
I think there’s so much money sitting in bonds earning negative interest after inflation, it really has no where to go but into stocks. Pension funds, seniors, and investors have to be in the market to earn a decent return. Barring a global event, I think the market goes much higher. The s&p has been flat for almost 12 years, companies profits have increased over this time period but hasn’t been reflected in the market. I would love to earn just a safe 4 or 5% return for retirement, but I am going to have to wait a few years for interest rates to rise. In the mean time I will be buying stocks along with all the other baby boomers. The market will drive aapl much higher. This could be the year!

Count me in that group.
Of course, just because I disagree does not mean I am right
We are getting a ready for a pullback, I’ve seen this happen too many times before. I am going to sell a little in the hopes of buying back cheaper.
+10 Be careful
I thought selling a little was being “careful”
Lol… That was being smart
Sorry, careful was meant for anyone considering buying up here
Edit to add: it gets really easy to get caught up in the “I’m missing the rally” idea. The opposite feel when we are at our lows. These extreme feelings can cause peeps to make some bad decisions - just be careful

You see, the game had just ended, and Colts great Raymond Berry ran the Giant gantlet with the Lombardi Trophy. Suddenly it seemed like every other Giant pulled out an Apple iPhone to snap pictures of the moment. One after another after another.
