Hm, a little standard PR from Tim that will ring hollow with some (the “play by the rules to do business with us” line concerning third-party suppliers - nothing new here).

Pretty interesting that Shope said they’re going to get into financial strategy.

This is the GS Tech and Internet Conference. He could literally say nothing about financial strategy and that’s in fact what I would expect at a conference like this. We’ll see what happens.

The odds are 80%+ in my view. Good to hear that we’ll probably never see a low price iPhone….or at least not a few more years.

Well, the next “low-price” iPhone is likely to be the 4 in about 4-8 months or so.  The very thought of the iPhone 4 being a $0 smartphone (with contract, of course) is almost unbelievable.

The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled.

I swear, that “decent” comment alone must’ve added at least $2 end of day.
