Poll: Will you buy an iPad 3?
-
Tan and Pat’s,
I was having the same problem with Safari. Followed the recommendation from the Apple support forum to clear history and clear cookies and data within Safari Settings. I know it hasn’t seemed to work for everyone but so far it’s working for me.

iPad 1 - Daughter using it
iPad 2- I have three people ready to buy
iPad 3- I hope is available before I go on my trip.

I will be upgrading my 1 and not yet sure what I’ll do with it. It crashes a lot.

I have the original iPad with no issues other than occasional Safari crashes, that I will give to my soon to be 8 year old daughter when the new one comes out. My 14 year old son has iPad 2 which he won’t be upgrading unless my wife buys it from him.

I’m thinking:
iPad 1 (daughter/wife) - Sell or trade.
iPad 2 (mine) - Wipe and give to daughter/wife.
iPad 3 - for me!Is that sort of like legging into a BCS? Since I’m committing to this without seeing the iPad 3, I’ll call it the BiPS (Bullish iPad Spread).

Wow. Way higher percentage of “buy on day one” response than I was expecting. I am of course assuming spambots don’t know how to vote.

I?ll be getting the 128GB WiFi version.
Recently sold my 64GB iPad 1 3G unit for a nice price (try that with any other tablet). I didn?t use the 3G very much, and found the personal hotspot feature (free on Rogers) works well enough for the few times I need it. Will convert the 3G premium into that great new 128GB unit!

I’ll be there the moment the iPad 3 is available for purchase. This device is darn near indispensable today and the iPad has already changed the economics of the global PC industry.

I will buy one, but I will wait until I get to the US, to get it much cheaper. It costs about 25% more here than in the US.
Where’s ‘here’?
Tan and Pat’s,
I was having the same problem with Safari.Innnnnteresting. Since I upgraded my iPod Touch I’ve been having Safari crashes. One every day or so where before I never had one. I thought it was just me.
FWIW we have an iPad2 which is working fine. We haven’t nearly reached the point where I’m thinking ‘gee I wish I could do X but this old device can’t handle it’. That’s the rule I usually follow when it comes to upgrading. So I guess I’ll stick with the iPad that I have. (OTOH this might give me enough space for an iPhone 5 this fall

“Indispensable”? Interesting.
I’m a Mac + iPhone guy myself, but eager to see how iPad can fit in both at home and away from home. I challenge thee, giveth me a _reason_ to carry a manbag around at all times, iPad 3!

Current iPad owners: Were you already lugging laptops around before you bought your iPad?

This is a full size laptop brief and is the big brother to a more svelte size that authenticates its manbag status. Visit your nearest Tumi store.

Answer the question!
(nice manbag recommendation though)

the long lines.
