Congrats on 6000! And thanks for sharing your margin strategy throughout. As I reduce options I’ve been adding stock with some sponge-like margin.

This fits in nicely with my new theory—The Rule of 10
It starts with OSX(10), then waiting until 100B to announce a dividend and 10B buy-back plan, your own 6000/$600=10 milestone, and of course, AAPL splitting 10-1 when share price hits $1000.
It’s all so elegant.
I know there is so many reasons not to split, but where would we be if AAPL had never split? You could barely buy a single share with one year’s Roth payment.

I think the number of posts also reflects how much time I spend here learning about aapl. Knowledge is power!!!!
By learning and sharing what I have read some place else, I further educate myself and better understand why I must stay the course and be disciplined.
However it is easy to acknowledge these positive attributes and observations when the stock is going up:)

You should burn into your brain that 2012 is the year of the sponge. With dividend, your strategy makes hell a lot of sense.
