iPad? Bueller?
To me, I see a 23.8% retrace of the 607ish-680ish move from the beginning of August. I don’t know if technicians would consider that a “valid” measuring point.
Works. 600.25 to 680.87:
23.8% = 661.84
38.2% = 650.07IMHO, after that, the next leg up needs to close today’s opening gap, or we’ll get another leg down, targeting between 630-640.

Yes. We started this run from 570 with an island bottom.
Need to close today’s opening gap to invalidate the island top possibility.

Well iPad, nice knowing you, since I ONCE AGAIN bought a top (sort of), maybe…Awww…Mav… It’s so hard to differentiate retrace versus reversal until the turning point’s in the rearview mirror! Not to mention reversals up and down seem to happen at the most illogical times this year…
EDIT: IF 680’s the temporary top—and I’m not saying it is—we should have a retest. Only caveat…if 675 was the “top” and 680 was the retest. Blah.

Looks like a bicycle pattern to me (or are those just your drawings:). Maybe it’s the bicycle going to the moon in ET. AAPL is going higher.
