    Up, I hope!

I think a broader market up day would help with the buying pressure.  Not too long until the divvy, for one thing.  AAPL still trading under a 15 multiple for another.

Apple historically does very well tomorrow - the Monday after earnings.  Up 6 of the past 6 quarters. It then tends to finish the week lower than Monday’s close.

Data since Jan 2010 is in the bottom right table on this page.

I did a weekly 605-610 bucs to try and take advantage of a pop tomorrow. Only was able to get a few contracts late Friday so no real $$ on the line, but will be fun to watch.

I’m expecting us to challenge 620 this week. I think we get there. If we do, I will look to get rid of the May 650s I purchased on Friday @ 3.20

Most around here have there own definition of what a WTF sale is, but mine is as follows:

    WTF Sale Price = AAPL < (10 x TTM Earnings) + Cash.

After the Jan Earnings report apple dropped into my WTF sale range and I went all in (and stayed there). What followed was of course the greatest 3 months of my investment lifetime.

After last weeks earnings and the corresponding share price bump, AAPL is currently quite far out of my WTF sale region (which would now be in the $530?s region and below.)

12-13 weeks until Q3 earnings (assuming $12.00 EPS), at which time my WTF sale price will be about $580-$590 and below..

Then it gets exciting, 26 weeks until Q4 earnings (assuming iPhone 5 launch & minimum $14.00 EPS), at which time my WTF sale price will be between $675-$700 and below

Looking further out, by Jan 2014 Earnings, my WTF sale price will be approximately $1200-1250 per share.

I expect apple to trade on average at least 10% higher than my WTF sale price within a month of each earnings announcement.

I do not have any idea what will happen tomorrow or this week.

I think I do have some clues about what will happen over the next, year, though.

Thanks roni, this will go over great in the intraYEAR thread.

I say, up Mon and Tue, iffy Wed (up then down most likely), then likely back to option shenanigans. We have Friday and Mondays option action unknown ATM, so hopefully those weekly 630’s start showing some more interest from the riverboat gambler crowd…

May 19 options have an unusually large spread of calls. #1 is 600, #2 is 650 and #3 is 700.

Well that narrows it down, huh?

I don’t know anything about TA / Charts, but a share price of 10xPE + Cash seems like a good support level to me…for a company growing as fast as apple.

For as long as fundamentals matter, that is.

For now, I’d say they do.

Good reading from Jean-Louis Gassee (I don’t always agree with him, but I do on this one):
