Don’t forget, bull markets climb a wall of worry. If true, some AFB’ers are going to push us higher.
Didn’t know the collective AFB had _that_ much buying power.

So you are all in?Just when does your crystal ball show AAPL reaching $1,000? I would say there is plenty of time for many whipsaws and changes in market sentiment to occur between now and then.
I’m never all in. :D But rarely do I hold unhedged calls, and I’m holding them right now.
I need to see what happens between now and SEP’12 to get a sense of $1000 potential. I suspect we may need to see the jaws of death (again) at least once before then.

The unhedged calls part, that just brings to mind the Twilight Zone or the parallel universe I’ve woken up in where the more disciplined traders are also more bullish than I am.
Which do you think it is?!
And don’t remind me about Screamfest August 2011! Which…was actually kind of “fun” for me, in an insanely perilous kind of way.Signature

Well, looking at the futures, I’d say I obviously have a screw loose…

Apple just can’t catch a break here…red futures near earnings. Ever the optimist, I’m hopeful it’s a “I hate Mondays” sort of thing.
Note to Europe: Get it together. We’ve been waiting long enough.

2. Your address so I can Federal Express the item from #1 to you.
In looking back to past periods of price action around earnings, it appears we may have an intra-day high this week that will be favorable to Friday’s close to allow us to hopefully shed those positions targeted for closing out. We will know soon enough. I, for one, will most likely be replacing unhedged calls with higher strike BCS’s.
Sure wish, similar to the the crop report in the movie Trading Places, I had Apple’s earnings report before Tuesday. However, I can do without since I can also do without being placed in a cage next to a real-live amorous Gorilla.
