this has been the week for stupid…or maybe just bad, bad timing. You’re not alone. I pulled out of aapl completely because I figured it was going to go way down before I got to sell and then buy at a lower price, at which point it went up. glad for those who are having that work in their favor.
After earnings miss I took a week off to let AAPL settle. Oh well, better than the hit I took on Friday.
I may sit this week out as well.

Thompson/First Call used to print a daily chart depicting percentage of daily action attributable to institutions and retail. They now charge for that info, and its expensive. Wish I could still get it. Ten years ago, when it was free, i didn’t know what to make of the data. Now that i do, they want real money for it.
How much is Thompson/First Call’s charge? Seems to me that Ameritrade would get this data for its customers. Or is this yet other proprietary information withheld to ensure the retail investor’s disadvantage in the markets?

What exactly is this info called, officially? There’s a lot of “elite”-designated traders on this board. The brokerages could provide access to this data, who knows.

More specifically, without rear camera.
As for me, I found camera usage on my iPad 1 to be cumbersome at best. Its easier to carry my dog around.

I don’t really see Apple NOT having a starter iPad mini, if such a product exists, at anything higher than $299.
If AAPL has a starter iPad in the $249/299 band, that suggests change for iPod touch.
