Last time apple sold off during the iphone 4s event and even the ipad3 event.
Seems apple has a habit of selling off during the event.

I think it will depend on what goodies Apple has left unannounced about the iPhone 5. If there really is a bigger announcement around Passbook, I think that could be good support for the price. I don’t know that I buy the fingerprint scanner in the home button for this release, but boy would that be a HUGE feature.
Will have to stay nimble during the event.

While I believe we have been in Sentiment Mode™, this might be a good time to point out that pain range is currently 660-664.99.
Considering market sentiment has been crappy, and probably laid a poo on AAPL today, perhaps we take a two day respite in pain range?
Or will we go 4 straight weeks beating pain?
After three straight weeks of losses, pain gets a moral victory.
IMWAG, 663 will look like a great price next week. Back up the truck.

Loaded up this week on Jan 2013 and Apr 2013 700 Calls. Didn’t catch the low of the day today, but managed to get a fill in the last 5 minutes on the dip. Planning to hold to the iPhone event. A little more cash in the bank if we see a good sale before then.
In my opinion those are good Calls. Instead of selling them to the iPhone event, you might consider selling a higher Strike against, sufficient that you get your initial investment back, and end up with a Call Spread that cost you nothing.
Example: Sell the January $720 against the January $700 Calls. Get your investment money back and end up with $20 Call Spreads (worth $2,000 each provided AAPL Closes above $720 at January OE, and it cost you nothing.
If this appeals to you, make sure your broker will allow you to trade Spreads (level 3 trading).

You can’t do more, make more, be more, than the next guy, if you think like the next guy. Think different.

That’s funny. That is a strategy I’ve been contemplating in the Options Strategy thread.

WOAH!
Indeed, and it seems to be a lot of “Yes” (meaning Samsung infringed).
