I have nothing to say that anyone wants to hear today.

Just say it and get it over with!

We should have blown through 700 today.  We should have annihilated it.

Why? I really wish it would in the next few days.

It seems like AAPL won’t break through a P/E of 16.  AAPL at $700 would be at 16.5 with its current TTE of $42.54.

Truth be told AAPL should have been above $700 quite awhile ago, but WS penalizes AAPL for some reason.

    SAMSUNG vs. AAPL Debates:

SAMSUNG - “I served with AMZN.  I knew AMZN.  AMZN was a friend of mine.  AAPL, you’re no AMZN.

Sorry, where was I.  Will be interesting to see if we can broach the PE we hit in April of this year.

All-time high of 680.87 was broken.    AAPL is currently a dollar below that.

We are on track for all-time closing high also.

Where do you subscribe to Jason’s Apple-specific stuff? I thought it was appletiming.com, but that seems to be closed now.

It’s at economictiming.com.  I started in November ‘11 at $29.99 per month, but he went to a bi-yearly subscription (i.e., every 6 months) in the spring for almost the same.

He has a running newsletter, and adds to it for distribution to his subscribers about 3 times per week.  All of his trades are shown as he makes them, and he has been riding this from about 570 or so.  If you mimicked his trades, you would make some very good money.

Thanks for this. I was following the newsletters a bit after the AAPL Investors’ Forum, but there wasn’t a clear way to subscribe when they ended that I could find.

None of the trading patterns seem to make sense any longer. Every time I think we are going down we go up and vice versa.

Just picked up a handful of shares.  Up to 120 now.  Just wondering how many of you longs are planning on taking some shares off the board right before Sept. 12?  I am a long, plan to hold for years to come but recent trends during a product release have the pps going down after announcement.  It’s tempting to sell some shares and hope to get back in when/if it trends lower.  Ah never mind, typing that out I think I answered my own question.  I’ll hold my shares, plus I believe the tax rate is lower if you hold for >1 year.  Never have done taxes though so I dunno.  Can anyone confirm?

Jon Najarian said it WILL be at 700 next week…pretty much as if it is a given.
