    Tweaking the margins should help. A lot of wasted space there. Like the newer clean look overall.

    We are now up about the same amount it was in Ger. yesterday.  Like the fact that we have a sub 16 P/E and AMZN’s is 303+ . Lots of money there that at some point might return to buy AAPL if that pig ever deflates. Mercel, stick a fork in that thing!

    Yup, agreed on wasted space, but these forums are brand new.  I’m sure there’ll be quick changes.

    As for AMZN, that stupid stock won’t break below 245, Chas.  I think my BPS hedge is utterly hosed.  For _October_ though…dare I try again?

    IMO, amzn won’t “crack” until the market does. That’s when I plan on going short.

    I had to click through to see the entire chart, and it was worth it. I thought a couple of days ago we were seeing an Island Top (which often leads to the Shipwrecked Chart) so why not an Inverted Head and Shoulders now?

    Don’t mean to complain given the day we are having but if I leave the forum idle for an hour or so it logs me out and I have to keep logging in.  Is anyone else experiencing that?

    5000 October 700 calls traded today and it looks like the 720s - 725s - 750s also traded 2000+ contracts.  Looks like the same person putting on the same spreads but not sure

    And no linked words to advertising.  No clutter in the right margin, either.  My only suggestion is to expand the size of the images over 75kb, a carryover from the old site.

    Then you should consider hedging big time as it’s VERY unlikely CM will be announced on the 12th. There really hasn’t been a peep about CM lately and if there has been it’s all about 2013. CM has big problems right now and the ip5 isn’t going to help them in the short term. i.e. it’s not in their best interest to jump on board right now.

    Well, active traders tend to trade technicals.

    That’s all I’m saying. 

    Having a provisionally good situation with those Nov calls I bought just before Friday close!  Whew!

    iPhone 5 is the big deal.  Everything else will fall into place.

    That said, sell the news is a phenomenon to watch.  Not a rule of the universe of course, but I’ll keep an eye out for it.

    I wouldn’t expect China Mobile until between December 2012 and February 2013 to coincide with the Lunar New Year in February 2013.
