I don’t know how it is in other countries, but here in Germany every news channel, TV, Radio, Newspaper is reporting about the imminent launch of the iPhone5. As far as I can recount this is the most media attention that a product release by Apple ever got in Germany.

This might be the single largest set of product announcements. All iOS devices upgrade except for iPad 3 ? iMacs ? iOS 6 with Siri and .....? fingerprint technology ? e-payment systems ?!?
I should mow the lawn first.

PS “Forgotten Password” is strange English when logging in. Also, automatic logging in is apparently not working.

I’m glad to see you all here. I had problems logging in, again. Epic fail for the new board format if folks can’t auto log in and if error messages keep popping up.
But I value everyone’s opinion here too much not to slog through it all.
That was 8 hours of battery life on 3G talk? How does that compare to the 4S?

3G talk is a little whatever. 8 hours with the 5, 8 hours with the 4S. iPhone 4S is good with talk in my experience.
8 (even 5-7 real life) hours of LTE browsing shows crazy battery efficiency.
UPDATE: Oh hey, Apple does photos while recording too. Take that, HTC.
And FaceTime cam is updated to 720p to better take advantage of the screen.

Seamless transitions in panorama - that’s a big deal if it’s true. It’s not easy to stich the images together so it’s invisible to the eye.
