Need a Finance App

My iPad Air came with a whole bunch of apps from Apple. What is missing though is the Stocks App. I’ve tried a bunch of apps but none of them do what I want. I don’t invest I just want to keep track of
    Apple
    BlackBerry
    The DOW
    The TSX
    The Canadian Dollar

I’ve tried a dozen or so of the free apps and they were all klugy, way overly complex for what I want, and in many cases wouldn’t do what I want (would track stocks if I said how many shares I own, or would track stocks but not the TSX, or insisted that I have an account with a company, etc.,). I don’t invest so I don’t really see any reason to pay for an app. Really Apple’s Stocks App was perfect.

Is there a way to get the Apple Stocks App if it didn’t come with my iPad (it is on my wife’s iPhone)?
Is there a good simple Stocks app in the AppStore?

    Hey Geoduck,

Just came across this thread. I’m not sure if you’re still looking, but I’d recommend StockMaster. I’m not if that’s one that you’ve tried already but it does allow difference view/Ui preferences, has TSX along with other world markets, and allows user to input share counts and even build various portfolios. Has Econ data, forex, options, etc… It also allows syncing with different finance accounts, e.g. Yahoo, Google, etc,, though I haven’t used it.

I think it’s a free and I’ve been very pleased with it so far.

    I hope this helps.
