In a
ddition to the new 15.4" aluminum PowerBooks introduced today at the Paris Apple Expo show, Apple also introduced new 17" and 12" PowerBook models. This revision mainly features speed increases for both units, with the 12" model now available at 1 GHz, and the 17" model getting a whopping 33% increase to 1.33 GHz. Apple also dropped the price of the 17" unit by US$300, down to US$2,999. Both units also get new video cards, with the 17" model sporting a 64 MB ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 card, and the 12" model getting a 32 MB NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5200 card
