I would get rid of the ‘could’ in ‘could spell bad news’ and a proper mantra for Sammy is arisen:
spells bad news
spells bad news
spells bad news
(for Samy)
And peace reigns upon the earth.
(such is the power of mantra)

Following the links in the article, I found the following quote from one company’s PR people: “We will strengthen our product competitiveness by reinforcing our premium brand reputation, powerful product line-up, and cutting-edge technology”.

Question 1: Would you expect a statement like that from Apple?
Question 2: Would you expect a statement like that from Samsung?

Question 3: Would you want to buy a phone from a company making that kind of statement?

Question 4: Do words like “premium brand reputation”, “powerful product line-up” and “cutting-edge technology” appeal to anyone who has mentally at least reached his teenage years?
