I wonder if the Apple server side in “Enterprise” will get a boost since one ‘Mac Pro’ can get about 6x Terraflops/sec due to multi-threaded Cores with GPUs. If this happens the Mac sales at ≥$9k ea. could be in the hundreds at various corporate server farms. In house Tunderbolt® chains of Mac Pros ≥2013 might replace older “super computers” and at the same time reduce electrical costs and space requirements. One ‘Mac mini’ has also been used successfully in the USofA by vendors of web services to completely host small business client sales- one for each web site domain used.
